Bellac

Bellac is a beautiful town situated in the Haute Vienne, a department of the Limousin. The Limousin department is made up of three departments; Haute Vienne, Correze and Cruese. Bellac also borders the Charente and Vienne departments and are part of the Novelle Aquitaine.

Bellac has a weekly market on a Saturday, the rivers Vincou and Gartempe flow through the town under the gaze of the Eglise Notre-Dame. Bellac also has a rugby team CS Bellac, which plays in the French leagues and regularly plays teams within the region including Ruffec. You can find more at www.bellac.fr

Bellac is 50 minutes from Limoges, 40 minutes from Montmorillon, 30 minutes from Confolens, 60 minutes from Poitiers, 50 minutes from Gueret and 50 minutes from Argenton sur Creuse.
